HARV system helps battle bots see clearly
Sending robots into battle rather than humans has always been the preferred option, but until such time that robots are able to make their own decisions, there is the HARV 0- the Head-Aimed Remote Viewer system.
Developed by Chatten Associates the HARV system features a gimbal mounted remote video system on the robot with gyro equipped VR goggles for the user; allowing the robot to look wherever the users head moves to.
Trials have shown that the HARV can improve mission performance by 300 to 400 per cent.
